There are many TT bars on the market and it is essential that they have sufficient adjustability for the rider to achieve the optimum body position. The problem is that to make a bar that’s multi adjustable, stiff and aerodynamic is very difficult.After three years of rider fitting at Drag2Zero, we have decided to make a different approach – to produce bespoke carbon pillars to be retrofitted on many of the most popular handlebars.When clients come in the wind tunnel we use a pillar with adjustable height and angle to determine their optimum set up, and then manufacture a bespoke set of pillars. Each pillar is handmade to a specified angle and length, and has an optimized wing section for the 3:1 UCI regulation.These pillars work perfectly on the latest generation of TT bikes where the stem should remain in line with the top tube.Available when you come to Drag2Zero for an aero fit. This version is designed for the PRO Missile EVO handlebar, other options are available on request. When long stack heights are required significant weight saving can be made over long through bolts, and stiffness is improved over multiply stack solutions.
